PDX Airport
I joined the bright and creative folks at Dot Dot Dash along with a team of talented Unreal Environment artists to help put something finishing touches on these luscious Portland inspired unreal engine environments which play on the new LED screen of the newly redesigned PDX airport.
Coastal Shots
• Created from start to finish the areal shot of coastal grass swaying in the wind. Key parts included scattering instances of
pebbles and rocks and twigs along with the coastal grass in a intersting composition, creating a wind shader/system for the grass to move beautifully in the wind.
• Color and atmospheric fog fine tuning across all shots.

Waterfall Shots
• Color adjustments across all shots
• Refining existing dynamic weather and lighting systems and adding important new functionality. These environments all respond to realtime weather data at the airport so each scene required weather and lighting elements to be responsive to this data.

Desert shots
• Added rocks and pebbles on the ground and scattered more grass
• Refined and adjusted overall wind movement on all plant elents
